Sugar Cookies with Sprinkles of Colored Sugar

This week turned out to be more hectic than I imagined. Initially I had planned to bake some sugar cookies for both my girl’s class holiday parties. Having had to organize one of their class party and finding myself overwhelmed shopping around for party favors for the kids and then wrapping all the 25 favors, I simply ran out of time. So even though I had the dough prepared I did not bake the cookies for the events this morning. Instead I baked them this evening and my girls decorated them. I think they turned out well. What do you think?
