What is a Peda
Peda is a bite-size sweet treat popular around the Indian sub-continent. It is a sweet made from milk solids, ghee, and sugar. However, there are many variations to the peda recipe depending on the region and the different ingredients. Peda is also known as Pedha, Penda (Gujarati), and Pera.
If you love chocolate and love peda, this combination of peda recipe is the one for you. This chocolate peda has a fudge-like texture (chewy) and tastes like both milk peda and chocolate.
About this recipe

Ingredients for Chocolate Peda
Milk Powder: is one of the main ingredients in this recipe. I bought dry milk powder from the Indian store. However, you can use any brand of milk powder.
Cocoa Powder: is the one that adds a flavor of chocolate. For this recipe, I used Hershey’s cocoa powder. You can use any good quality brand of cocoa powder
Condensed Milk: is used as a substitute for sugar. Any brand of condensed milk is good for this recipe.
Milk: I use 2 % milk for this recipe. However, you can use whole milk for a richer taste.
Ghee: As with most of my recipes, I like to use home-made ghee. You can use the store-bought ghee or melted butter.
