Few months back I received a bottle of Bonapiel Anti Aging Moisturizer with Peptides, Matrixyl and Vitamin E for review purpose. I was curious to try it because I have combination skin. Now anyone who has combination skin will agree that it is somewhat of a challenge to find the right kind of skincare products.
Once I received the Bonapiel Anti Aging Moisturizer I started the trial immediately the next day. I stopped using my regular moisturizer, as I did not want that to affect my skincare testing routine. But, before I tell you about the result I think I should tell you about the package and the physical properties of the cream itself.
The packaging looked very high end. The cream was in a bottle, which had a pump dispenser. Every time I pushed it would dispense the right amount of cream. The cream looked heavy but felt light. The instructions on the back of the package mentioned that I had to use it after applying a specific serum. Since I did not have any of that serum, I totally relied on this Bonapiel moisturizer for testing purpose.
My review:
The first thing I felt when I applied it was a cool and refreshing sensation (I could apply it all day long just to feel it). It had a minty fragrance and feel to it, which I liked a lot and seems like a lot of skincare products are missing. My skin felt very hydrated. I also mentioned before the cream is weightless and very light. It goes on smooth and is immediately absorbed by the skin. A small amount is sufficient and gives enough coverage. I also noticed the moisturizer lasted longer and I did not have to reapply. So for those reasons at least this moisturizer gets an A+ from me.
Even though there were tons of things I liked about the Bonapiel Anti Aging Moisturizer I have to be honest with you regarding the results. I did not have any bad results but I did not see much improvement on my skin either. I did not have a glowing complexion like it was promised. After application fine lines were still visible and did not disappear. Now bear in mind that I used this product for only a month, so it is possible that I may have had to use it longer to see results.
In my personal opinion if you are looking for a high quality moisturizer this one is for you, but if you are looking for Anti Aging properties then it will not do much. So why don’t you try it out for yourself? Bonapiel is available on Amazon, and currently retails for $37.99.

This cream sounds pretty awesome! I would hope that it would work like it claims by at least the 6th week or so. At least that’s all the time I would give a product.

I appreciate this honest review actually. I sent a new brand of facial moisturizer at least once a week so I know which ones I love and I’m always happy to try new ones but I get super recommendations from blogs obviously. I may look for this.

This sounds like a great product. I don’t use that much stuff on my face but the older I get the more I start thinking that I need some anti-aging stuff.
I like that you get the amount you need from the dispenser. (I hate wasting product because it gives me too much.) I’ll have to try this out!

This seems like a great product. I am in the market for something similar. I need an anti aging moisturizer. I would be happy with the addition of SPF
I am hitting that age where I have to do something to help with the signs of aging. I would not mind trying this one – this time of year even if it did work as a great moisturizer it would be nice.
I have these pesky little laugh lines and crows feet that are just starting to pop up, so I am definitely interested in trying this out.
