It is one of the easiest recipes you can make. I developed (not much to develop) it because I always wanted to try out Jamaican Jerk Chicken, but was too lazy to make it from scratch. Since a trip to Jamaica is out of the question and as we don’t have a Jamaican restaurant around us, my one option was to try making it with a ready-made sauce.
Fortunately for me, my husband who does groceries from time to time bought this Jamaican jerk barbecue sauce and I was more than pleased to try it out. I decided to use it my way with some more addition of ingredients and was surprised when they turned out finger-licking good.
I used the sauce (pictured below) to make the marinade. Added a few other ingredients and it was perfect. My husband bought this sauce from our local supermarket. However, you can find it on Amazon. Even though it says it is spicy, for our Indian palate, it is very mild. The sauce itself is sweet and tangy, perfect for grilling or baking.
All you have to do is marinade the chicken wings with this sauce. I also added a few extra ingredients, which you can see in the instructions below.
After an hour it is time to pop it into the oven and that is it. Do try it out. I promise you it is the easiest and quickest recipe you will ever make. Check out the recipe below. Enjoy!
