About Spicy Tofu Puffs
This recipe is my own creation. Puff pastries with savory and spicy stuffing are common and you can find them easily in bakeries in India. The pastries are stuffed with potatoes, paneer (Indian cheese), ground chicken, mixed vegetables, eggs and so on.
I always have a block of extra firm tofu in my refrigerator. I wanted to make an Indian recipe with tofu. So I decided to experiment and make the filling out of tofu.
When my husband and children tasted the spicy tofu puffs, I knew I had a winner in hand. I wasted no time and quickly jotted down all the ingredients I had used so that I did not forget it and could post the recipe.
