For some years now I have been phasing out plastic containers and bottles. There was a time when I was exclusively using those. After hearing all kinds of negatives about them I felt it was better for my family and I to avoid using plastics containers (Well my DH makes it very difficult for me because he loves plastic containers).
I have slowly replaced and invested in glass, ceramic and stainless containers. Last year I even replaced my girls’ lunch boxes with stainless steel containers. However, I am always on look out for new products. I recently received the Francoiset et Mimi stainless steel water bottles for review purpose and I cannot say how glad I am.
My review:
The package came with 2 20 oz water bottles. My first reaction was how elegant they looked. They look expensive and well made. The bottles are very sturdy and made with good quality food grade unbreakable 18/8 stainless steel. Even though they appear heavy, actually they are lightweight.The bottles are also big enough to hold a good quantity of liquid. As a family we are always carrying water bottles with us when we go out. The weight of these bottles makes it easy to carry.
The turquoise top has a flip-top straw which means the only way water is coming out is by sipping/sucking it on the straw. Even if you flip it upside down, it will not leak any water. From my little one’s perspective this is a cool feature and she loves it. She likes the fact that water is not gushing out on her face when she is trying to take a sip.
These stainless steel water bottles are also very durable and has double wall vacuum which is perfect for keeping our drinks cold. The top of the bottle is big and has a wide opening. This is perfect for filling up the bottle without any spillage (‘S’ is guilty of that).

Nice looking water bottles and I like the fact that nothing spills from them, would be so nice with the grandchildren drinking at my home, bet it holds temperature of water or drink longer than regular bottles

This is the first time I’ve heard of Francois et Mimi Stainless Steel bottles. I’ll have to get myself one, we drink a lot of water in Arizona in the summer.

I love reusable water bottles like these because they help to spare the environment from pollution. My son uses them for basketball practice.
